Find Your Lost Dino Feature

Here at Arkadia, we’re dedicated to enhancing your Ark: Survival Evolved experience. We understand the frustration of losing a beloved dinosaur – whether it’s wandered off during a roam, been caught in a stray storm, or simply vanished into the vast wilderness. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a new in-game feature designed to help you quickly and easily locate your lost companions: the 🔭│find-lost-dino feature!

How Does the find lost dino Feature Work?

This feature provides a simple and efficient way to determine the location of your dinos directly through in-game chat commands. No more endless searching or frantic calls to your tribe mates! Here’s a detailed breakdown of how to use it:

  • Listing Your Dinos: To view a complete list of all registered dinos associated with your player account, simply type the following command into the in-game chat: /track. This will display a list of their names, making it easy to identify the one you’re looking for.
  • Finding a Specific Dino’s Location: Once you’ve identified the dino you’re searching for, use the following command: /track . Replace “” with the *exact* name of your dinosaur. The game will then return the dino’s current map coordinates – its longitude and latitude – allowing you to pinpoint its location on the map.

Example Usage

Let’s say you’ve lost your Argentavis, named “SkyReaper.” To find its location, you would type the following into the in-game chat:

/track SkyReaper

The game will respond with something similar to:

Longitude: 123.456, Latitude: 78.901

This information will allow you to navigate directly to your Argentavis on the map.

Why We Added This Feature

At Arkadia, we prioritize the enjoyment of our community members. We recognized a common pain point – the time and frustration associated with locating lost dinos. This feature significantly reduces that burden, allowing you to spend more time exploring, building, and conquering the challenges of Ark: Survival Evolved.

Tips for Effective Use

  • Accurate Dino Names: Ensure you use the exact name of your dinosaur in the command. Case sensitivity might apply, so double-check your spelling.
  • Server Compatibility: This feature is exclusive to the Arkadia server. It will not function on other Ark: Survival Evolved servers.
  • Map Awareness: Familiarize yourself with the Arkadia server map to effectively interpret the longitude and latitude coordinates.
