Here at Arkadia, we’re constantly working to enhance your Ark: Survival Evolved experience. We’re excited to announce a new feature designed to streamline progression and reduce the time spent on tedious tasks: Automatic Engram Unlocks. This feature aims to make both new and veteran survivors’ lives easier and more enjoyable.

What are Engrams and Why Automate Them?

For those new to Ark: Survival Evolved, Engrams represent the blueprints for crafting items, structures, and other essential components of survival. Traditionally, players unlock these blueprints by discovering them through exploration, completing challenges, or, most notably, by traveling to specific locations on various maps. While this system encourages exploration, it can become incredibly time-consuming, especially after a server wipe or when transitioning to a new map.

Introducing Automatic Engram Unlocks

The Automatic Engram Unlocks feature eliminates the need to physically travel to different areas of the map simply to unlock engrams. Here’s how it works:

• Level-Based Unlocks: As you gain experience and level up your character, the corresponding engrams will automatically unlock in your crafting menu.
• Streamlined Progression: This ensures a smoother and more consistent progression through the game’s crafting tiers.
• Reduced Grind: Say goodbye to countless hours spent running around the map!

Important Considerations: Tek Engrams

It’s crucial to understand that this feature *does not* bypass the requirement for unlocking Tek Engrams. Tek Engrams are still exclusively obtained by defeating the corresponding boss creatures. This ensures that acquiring the most advanced technology in the game remains a challenging and rewarding accomplishment.
